I’ll be posting them here, along with links to the complete ones. If you want, you can also post a to-do list of sprites based on characters from the roleplays. Here’s a base doll (Originally by XSpeed, then edited by Panda, and then edited and adjusted for RPG Maker MV by me):ītw, just some useful info, in the middle rows, the doll is facing left and right, in that order. # So, post all your RPG Maker sprites in this thread. Follow the structure of the Character Generator sprites for an easy example. 48x48 px, 72x72 px), it will implement them easily. As long as it fits the standards of a 3-frame walk going down/left/right/up and have equal dimensions (i.e. If someone wanted to shrink or enlarge the player, or event(s) in response to, for instance, magic potions, SpriteZoom would be the way to go.So, as it started in the MaD community forum, i’ve made this thread for posting your sprites (Cooldoodle also did one before, but I asked him to delete it so I could make this more organized one.) For importing bigger sprites, its as simple as dropping it into the Resource Manager. The plugin ovate suggested would suit my needs better, but the SpriteZoom has other potential uses. Seems to me that both plugins are very good whichever is best depends upon what you want. It would take a bit more work than with PD_AdjustCharaSprite.js, though.

It makes human, animal and treasure chests smaller, for instance.ģrd Edit - To be fair to the SpriteZoom, from the documentation it seemed as if you can resize other events with it. This plugin opens up a lot of possibilities for livening up the overworld.Ģnd Edit - It doesn't make events that use tiles as the image look smaller, so if you use a tile as the sprite for transfer to a village, or the old "bandit hideout being suddenly visible and accessible after talking to bandit leader's ex-girlfriend" dodge for example, it still looks okay. Previously, I just used the overworld for traveling between outdoor maps. It makes ALL the sprites smaller on the overworld, so if you have NPCs or battle events, they are in scale with the party. It has a major benefit over previous methods that I used. PD_AdjustCharaSprite.js looks as if it may be even easier to use.Įdit: It worked well on a small project I use for testing things. I have tried out the SpriteZoom plugin in the last couple of days, and am impressed with it. That is okay if you have only a few potential party members able to travel the overworld, but can get clumsy if you give the player a lot of choice of party composition. I used to have smaller versions of the sprites that I had reduced in size with GIMP and swap the sprites in "Enter Overworld" and "Leave Overworld". The plugin that you suggested looks very interesting. I need to resize a character to get him to fit into a sprite sheet.
